Adirondack Residences is a full service vacation rentals firm specializing in vacation rentals in Lake Placid and the surrounding areas. Founded by Shannon N. Bombard in 2008, our main office is located in Wilmington, NY just minutes from Whiteface Mountain.

Shannon brings over five years of combined experience to Adirondack Residences after working at the Lake Placid Club Lodges as assistant manager and as a vacation rental specialist with Lake Placid Accommodations.

Adirondack Residences has a growing portfolio of lakefront properties, condos, townhomes and private homes that offer magnificent vacation options for anyone visiting the Adirondack region.

Our goal is to provide clean and comfortable vacation homes to everyone, regardless of budget. We have properties available in Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, Wilmington and will soon expand to other areas of the Adirondacks.

All of our rental properties include fully applianced kitchens, telephones, linens, towels, activities (ie. games, movies, etc.) and most have fireplaces for your enjoyment.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

1. What time may I arrive and when must I depart?

Check-in time is 3:00 pm and check-out time is 10:oo am, please call Adirondack Residences prior to check-out if you request additional time. We reserve the right to apply a surcharge for late departures that our office was unaware of.

2. What should I bring?

Our properties are well equipped for the number of people each residence sleeps. If you require additional towels, blankets, etc you may want to bring some with you. Paper supplies, dish soap and some form of cleaning supplies are normally provided. Please plan on bringing laundry detergent and personal amenities such as shampoo.

3. What is the cancellation policy?

We require 60(sixty) day written notification of your intent to cancel your trip. Upon timely notification, 90% of your deposit will be returned to you.

4. What additional fees can I expect to pay?

Our booking fee of $40 is added to each reservation along with a one time cleaning fee which varies according to the size of the rental home. All cleaning fees are clearly stated in the property description found on this site. All taxes are included in the nightly/weekly rental rate. Pet friendly homes require a $50 additional fee per pet.

5. Does Adirondack Residences require a security deposit for each rental property?

Yes, our standard security deposit is $500, payable via personal check or money order. Your security deposit will be refunded upon careful inspection of the rental property. Certain rental homes may require a higher security deposit. This will be disclosed at the time of booking or prior. The security deposit must be received prior to check-in.

6. How do I send payment?

A 50% deposit MUST be received within 14 days of the reservation booking accompanied by a signed rental agreement. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the check-in date. We accept personal checks, money orders, Mastercard, Visa and Discover as forms of payment

7. Will my rental property be cleaned on a regular basis?

Your rental property will be clean upon arrival and cleaned again after your departure. Additional housekeeping can be arranged in advance for a fee. Adirondack Residences requires a mid-stay clean for rental periods in excess of one week.

8. What happens if I have an emergency after office hours?

For medical and fire emergencies, please call 911 immediately. For other problems, an emergency number will be provided for you prior to check-in.

9. Where can I pick up the property keys?

Keys can be picked up at our office located at 5910 NYS Route 86, Wilmington, NY 12997. Please call our office at 518-946-7772 to make arrangements for direct check-ins or late arrivals.
