Welcome to Whitetail Run, where you can literally watch the Whitetail deer frolic and run right outside the door! Exceptional Adirondack construction surrounds you at Whitetail Run. Soaring windows, Great Camp style beams, hardwood floors and cathedral ceilings are just a few of the stunning features of this camp.

Enjoy all the comforts of home with the addition of a custom gourmet kitchen complete with chef’s stovetop, wetbar, and state of the art appliances. The Great Room features a gas fireplace, plasma tv, and French doors leading to a spacious deck overlooking Oseetah Lake. The master bedroom features a queen size bed and private bath with an exquisite tiled shower. The dining area allows easy access to a spacious screened in porch, perfect for summer picnics and the great tradition of Adirondack story-telling.

The second level features a bright and airy loft complete with a twin size sleeper chair. The two bedrooms at this level both host a queen size bed and are tastefully decorated with cabin flair! There is also a full bath on this level.

Located on a quiet country road, Whitetail Run is one of only a few camps on Oseetah Lake. Enjoy a true country vacation with privacy, wildlife and views galore!! Just ten minutes from Lake Placid, guests will feel like they are tucked away in a private Adirondack paradise.

Just a few feet from Whitetail Run, guests will find a private beach, dock and boat launch. ESPN choose Oseetah Lake as one of the fishing sites during the Great Outdoor Games. The lake is connected to four other lakes in the Saranac Chain all of which are accessible by boat, canoe or kayak. These lakes include Middle & Lower Saranac, Kiwassa and Lake Flower.

The lake is also home to a wide variety of bird life including Loons, Great Blue Herons and Bald Eagles. The summer issue of Life Magazine stated that Oseetah Lake is the best vantage point for viewing eagles in the Adirondacks.

Summer months offer hikers and climbers of all levels some of the most challenging and beautiful terrain in North America. Golf enthusiasts will find some of the finest championship caliber golf course in and around the area. The area is a virtual paradise for all to enjoy the great outdoors. In the winter time, the frozen lake is ideal for cross country skiing and snowmobiling. Whiteface Mountain, site of the 1980 Olympics, and ranked Number 1 in the East by Ski Magazine is a 45 minute drive.

Whitetail Run accommodated 6-7 people. Satellite television, DVD/VCR players, high speed internet, a stereo and a phone that allows for local calls are all available for guest's convenience. Linens, towels, dishes, glasses and cooking items are all included.
